Received Deadly Games, Book 3 Kylie Hatfield, ARC from Author Mary Stone Kylie unknowingly gets involved in some very nasty problems, concerning the father who abandoned her and her mother. Love how Kylie is becoming more confident in her quest of being an investigator. Her and Linc are more comfortable with one another and you can see their relationship blooming beautifully. Great new characters that I hope to see more of. Storm and Vader need to have puppies please lol. The ending with Vader had me laughing so hard, it was priceless!! Lots of new nasty characters you live to hate. I thoroughly enjoy this 3rd book in the series and eagerly await the next. A great and easy page turning read. Mary Stone, you never cease to amaze me with your stories. Keep up the magnificent work!!

Some secrets are best left buried! Kylie Hatfield knows her mother loves her. Her father? Not so much. Fact is, she doesn't know anything about Adam Hatfield, other than his leaving when she was four days old. Kylie believes that she cannot commit to any relationship until she knows why -the key, she feels, to who Kylie Hatfield is. With her growing involvement with Boyfriend (?) Linc Counter rushing forward, and her new Assistant Private Investigator business cards in her purse, Kylie decides this is the most important Missing Persons case she will ever investigate. For Kylie who she is and her self worth are tied up in the father she doesn't know. With the little information her mom can provide about Adam, Kylie begins an internet search. What she finds takes her on a "vacation" to NYC and a confrontation with a bussinessman and billionaire - her father. Of course, our impulsive heroine once again chases the mystery on her own without telling her employer or Linc the truth about her trip. While "William" Hatfield seems like a successful business professional, there us much more to his life than a new wife and family. Returning, broken and tearful, to Ashville, Kylie only wants to fall into Mind's arms and be comforted. But has she brought home mire than heartache? And can Kylie ever let go of a case, no matter what the dangers? And what is the real story behind Dad's rise from garbage truck to business mogel? But more importantly, can she trust Linc or her own feelings?

Love is in the Air and the Past Always Comes Back to Bite Ya! Once again, things heat up in Deadly Games, the third book in Mary Stone and Bella Cross' Kylie Hatfield series. The two newbie authors have created a well loved world centered around their magnet for trouble P.I Kylie Hatfield. Impetuous, always moving as well as talking, Kylie, just can't help stirring up trouble. Thank God for her big dog Vader, and her lover Linc, or she would have been dead several times now. The plot for Deadly Games is very original and well done. The authors again have you guessing as to who is the true villain, right up to the last page. I guarantee you won't see what's coming! What makes this series so entertaining is way the authors combine edge of your seat suspense with the delightful and quirky characters, not just Kylie but her loveable entourage! I can't wait to see what trouble Kylie and Vader get into in the next book, Deadly Dreams, available with your Kindle Unlimited subscription.

I’ve read all of the Mary Stone series (Winter Black,?Autumn Trent, Amelia Stone, etc.) loved them ALL & can’t wait for more!! Based on those, I just finished the last of the Kylie Hatfield series & I have to say that of all the Mary Stone series, this was the worst!!! Kylie’s character is an immature, self-absorbed, ditzy brat with a “disconnect” between her brain & her mouth! Also, it’s pretty evident early on that Kylie & Linc have “chemistry” between them & are “into each other”, so are the crude sexual comments really necessary?? I’m far from being a prude, but I don’t see how the comments are relevant & they just sound crass & trashy.

Deadly Games(Kylie Hatfield Amateur Sleuth Mystery Series Book 3) I truly loved this book. I am happy that Kylie finally got to meet her father, it is just sad that he was involved with the mob. I am happy that her and Linc are ingaged and are finally living together. I am also happy that her mom finally has a boyfriend. I was truly scared that the mob was going to kill,Kalie, her mom, Linc and mom's new boyfriend. I glad they finally got caught. I can't wait to read the next book.

Eventually it was good This book started off kind of annoying and repetitive, and definitely not a mystery. Reading about Kylie’s family history, and her personal relationship, over and over and .....
Then the story packed up. While still awkwardly told, it improved significantly.
So, a slow beginning, but a satisfying ending.

Great read Loved the book just as I did the other two. These are fun easy reads. I’m always a sucker when there’s a dog in the story and Vader just adds to the enjoyment of these books.

Review A fun book, enjoyed the lightheartedness even though the mystery part was the strong theme. It kept my interest, was also suspenseful. In general, a good book for light reading.

Wowzer this one was crazy Kylie can sure get herself in trouble and this one dragged her mom, Linc, Jacob, Vader, Storm and a long lost dad into the storm of trouble. Thankfully most of them came out only slightly scathed and happy to be in love or deep like. Lol

Entertaining suspense and action This is another very enjoyable book in this series. The story is full of mystery and action. The characters are loyal, intuitive, and fun. Including the dogs. Very entertaining!!

Worst of the series Too much relationship drama. I don't find Kylie's impulsiveness cute and I'm ready for the character to grow up and use her words! Almost dying and putting Linc in dangerous situations(hello PTSD!) doesn't change her behavior at all! So annoying.

Selfish I did not like Kylie in this book. She was always wanting to "take over" not matter if she did not know how to do the job. She also was untrustworthy and misleading (lied) when she thought she knew everything.

better if the 3 This is actually the best of the three so far. More real life action then the other ones. I also feel like this may have been intended for teens based on the story line and writing style . Anyways I liked this book better the others.

Deadly Games by Mary Stone and Bella Cross is the third installment in the Kylie Hatfield series and the best so far. The storyline was good, building upslowly until all the pieces started to come together, then you can't stop tilltheend. Now that Kylie is an assistant private investigator, there are no cases to solve. She's even got all the boring office work caught up and nothing to do. She decides to track down the father she's never known and hopefully can find out why he left. Maybe answers can help her solve her insecurity issue with loving Linc. Research starts great, but only Kylie could search for her father and end up with the Mob after her. Each of these installments show Kylie and Vader growing into their full potential. I think Kylie will always be a loose cannon, but a little smarter. Get ready for twists, turns, a growing romance, and some laughs that will keep you turning the pages in this five-star mystery. I did receive an Advance Readers Copy from the authors. The above is my honest review.
