Fight ends prep game early ROSWELL A high school football game between Roswell Goddard and Las Vegas Robertson was called off late in the third quarter Saturday night when a fight broke among the two teams. Goddard was awarded a 36-6 victory in the game that ended with 3:57 left in the third quarter after the game officials terminated play. The fight, which was broken up within minutes by coaches and officials, began following a punt return touchdown by Goddard player C.W. Hamilton.

The two benches emptied when the fight broke on on the ensuing kickoff. The non-districl win improved Goddards record to 5-3. Robertson is now 3-4. The New Mexican Staff.
