SYRACUSE 12, SCRANTON/WILKES BARRE 1 (BOX)

José Buttó looked quite good - six innings of two hit ball, no walks, seven strikeouts - and the offense banged out three home three runs en route to a rout against the RailRiders, with Rylan Bannon notching four RBIs. Jon Duplantier allowed the only walk and run of the game for Syracuse in the ninth inning, while Max Kranick didn’t allow a baserunner in his two innings.

Single A: St. Lucie Mets (14-26)

ST. LUCIE 5, CLEARWATER 4 (BOX)

St. Lucie came from behind, scoring three runs in the bottom of the eighth en route to a narrow victory against the Threshers. A walk, a hit by pitch, three stolen bases, a hit, and two throwing errors led to the Mets gaining the lead and, eventually, the victory.

Rookie: FCL Mets (7-5)

FCL METS 5, FCL MARLINS 2 (BOX)

Jeremy Rodriguez put the Mets up 2-0 in the bottom of the third and, although the Marlins tied it in the sixth, the Mets jumped back ahead in the sixth and took a bigger lead both on the bat of A.J. Ewing.
