Tenn she came to Kingsport in 1939 after graduating from the University of Virginia Mrs Ferrell taught school in the Kingsport City School System from 1939 to 1948 and was later employed as a marketing consultant with Silver-Bur-dette until her retirement in 1975 She lived in Cincinnati Ohio from 1957 until 1980 when she came back to Kingsport Mrs Ferrell was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma the National Retired Teachers' Association and the First Broad Street United Methodist Church She was preceded in death by her husband Alvie Ferrell in 1978 Surviving are one sister Mrs Martin
