Our mobile app is compatible with the Apple devices listed below, running iOS/iPadOS (version 14.0 or later required). When your hearing aids are paired with any of the iOS devices below, direct audio streaming is available directly from the device settings.

Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast™ for Apple devices

Because Select 500s are among the first hearing aids in the industry to offer them, iOS devices do not yet support Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast™. Select 500s do support existing connectivity, such as hands-free calls for compatible iOS devices.

Compatible Android devices

Our mobile app is compatible with the Android devices listed below. Your device must run Android OS version 9.0 or later. We are also aware of users experiencing issues with Android 12 specifically and recommend reading our troubleshooting steps.

Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast™ for Android devices

Select 500s are among the first hearing aids in the industry to offer Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast™. Bluetooth LE Audio is the future of connectivity, offering the clearest streamed sound to compatible devices, and the lowest latency and battery consumption for all-day streaming. Auracast™ enables connection to live broadcast audio transmissions in places like concert venues, event spaces, and travel centers, as more of those places support it.
