'Deuvall Florencetta Wilson Deuvall, 91, of Harrisonburg, died on Monday, January 22, 2001, at Camelot Hall Nursing Home where she had been a resident the past three years. She was born October 25, 1909, in Wellsville, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Roseanna McKay Wilson. She graduated from St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing and did post graduate work at Chicago Lying-In Hospital.

She moved to Harrisonburg in December of 1997 from Ohio. Mrs. Deuvall was a member of the First Christian Church in Chillicothe, and also was a member of the North Fork Garden Club, Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Chaplains Guild in Chillicothe. She was an active volunteer with The Red Cross, Hospital work and taught first aid classes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thorne Deuvall.

Surviving are three daughters, Marta O'Dell and husband, Donald, of Parma, Ohio, Anne Duffy and husband, Terry, of Uniontown, Maryland and Mary Bolding, of Massanutten, Virginia; one sister, Margaret Brough, of Fair Hope, Alabama; nine grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. Memorial services will be later in Chillicothe. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Wellsville, Ohio. Her body is at the Kyger Trobaugh Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. The casket will be closed.

Thacker Bessie Flora Thacker, 74, of Huntington Township, died 8 a.m. Wednesday at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Elder John Thacker. Arrangements are being competed by Haller Funeral Home. Thomas B.

Hixson Thomas Burch Hixson, 50, of Greenfield, died 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Mr. Hixson was born Feb.

23, 1950, in Greenfield, and he was president of Hixson Oil Company. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Wallace) Hixson, one son and one daughter. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Gray officiating.

Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home, Greenfield. Lorraine Clair McNeal, 81, of Adelphi was born November 3, 1919, in Schoolfield, the daughter of William J. and Mary (Higgs) Breeden. She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond G. McNeal; two sons, Gary (Barbara) McNeal, Springfield and Roger (Jean) McNeal, Chillicothe; grandson, G. Bryan McNeal, Springfield; brother, William (Belma) Breeden, Chillicothe; sister, Ruthann (Donald) Goodchild, Circleville; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Church Triumphant, Hallsville Homemakers, Elmdale Grange and many other social and religious organizations. She was employed by the Zane Trace Schools for 30 years and worked for Dave Pritchard Auctioneers for 33 years. She and Raymond were married October 24, 1940, and spent a loving marriage together. A true servant of God here on Earth, she will be missed by all. Visiting hours will be at the Hill Funeral Home 6-8 p.m.

Thursday and 2-8 p.m. Friday. Rev. Eric Van Buskirk will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hill Funeral Home.

Main OH 45601. newspaper network OF CENTRAL OHIO A GANNETT GROUP Recall Tree wound compound recalled WASHINGTON (AP) -A Michigan company is recalling about 35,000 cans of a compound used to seal tree wounds because of a pressure problem that makes the chemical shoot out of the can. The compound can cause temporary skin irritation. The Tanglefoot Co. of Grand Rapids has received 34 reports of containers discharging their contents, but no injuries have been reported, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday.

The product is sold in pint, quart and gallon cans that are labeled "Tanglefoot, Tree Wound Grafting Compound." recalled cans were filled from Nov. 11, 1996, through May 5, 1999. This date is stamped on the back of the can's label. Hardware stores and nurseries nationwide sold the compound from November 1996 through August 1999 for $5 to $18, depending on the size of the can. Consumers can return the product to the store where purchased for a replacement.

Kohser Glenn Hodil Kohser, 79, of Winter Haven, died 6:15 a.m. Wednesday in the Winter Haven Hospital. He was born Aug. 16, 1922, in Glenshaw, and was a retiree of the Ohio Valley Electric Corporation, Piketon. He is by his wife, Ruth M.

He was born Nov. 17, 1928, in Phelps, and was a retired coal miner. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Faye (Moles) Frazier. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday (today) at Gospel Light House, Waverly.

Bodies of 3 family members found The Associated Press NEWARK A couple and their adult daughter were found dead in their home Wednesday, victims of: a reported murder-suicide. Authorities responding to a 911 call about 7:45 a.m. found the bodies of H. Doug Hatfield, his wife, Kathleen, and their daughter, Courtney, police Capt. Steven Cochran said.
